Who is responsible for your data?
Hau Au Yeung, operating under the professional name Nicole Hénusse, is responsible for the processing described below. You can contact her at nicole@nicolehenusse.be or by post at Chaussée de Louvain 530, 1380 Lasne, Belgium.
What data is processed?
- When you write: your name, email address, the content of your message and any information you choose to include.
- For operation and security: the host may process technical data normally transmitted during a connection, including the IP address, browser, date, time and requested resource.
- For aggregate statistics: the page viewed, referring domain, source category, UTM campaign parameters and a device category. The internal tool stores no IP address, visitor identifier, fingerprint, referring path or complete query string.
Why is this data used?
- To answer an enquiry, prepare a collaboration or perform a service: pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract.
- To manage professional correspondence and follow up enquiries: legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact Nicole Hénusse.
- To maintain the availability, security and technical diagnosis of the website: legitimate interest in protecting the website.
- To understand, in aggregate form, which pages and sources are useful: legitimate interest in improving the content, with deliberately minimised collection.
How long is the data retained?
- Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted no later than 24 months after the last exchange.
- When a collaboration is agreed, information required for the file, invoicing or the defence of legal rights may be retained for the applicable statutory periods.
- Internal aggregate statistics are retained for no more than 13 months.
- The host retains technical logs for the period required for security, diagnosis and compliance with its legal obligations, according to its retention settings.
Who may receive this data?
Nicole Hénusse receives the messages. NameSilo, LLC provides hosting and email infrastructure and processes technical data on behalf of the website. Data may also be disclosed to a professional adviser or authority where required by law. It is neither sold nor used for behavioural advertising.
Does data leave the European Economic Area?
NameSilo, LLC is established in the United States and states that some operations may take place in several countries. Technical data or messages may therefore be processed outside the European Economic Area. Nicole Hénusse checks with the provider which contractual mechanism applies to these transfers. You may request further information at nicole@nicolehenusse.be.
Does the website use cookies?
The public website sets no analytics or advertising cookies and uses no local storage to track visitors. Internal statistics operate without a persistent identifier or fingerprint. A consent banner is therefore not displayed. If a non-essential tool using cookies or another tracker is added in future, this policy will be updated and consent requested before activation.
What are your rights?
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to nicole@nicolehenusse.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
