Designer and illustrator
Nicole Hénusse
I create visual identities and illustrations from Lasne, Belgium.

An eye trained through drawing
My practice brings together graphic design, illustration and observational drawing. Training in design, followed by visual anthropology and political science, taught me to understand a subject in context before giving it visual form.
For both identities and illustrations, I look for what truly belongs to the project: a proportion, gesture, material, place or story. I can then work in gouache, watercolour, charcoal, digital painting or vector, according to what the image requires.
